Snack costs?

I'm starting a cash envelope for buying snacks (Mickey bars, churros, etc). I want to just hand the kids a $5 bill to buy a snack. Will this be enough?

I think the churros and ice cream treats tend to be in the $4 range, so $5 should be fine.

If a "snack" is an individual item, yes, $5 is enough. If a "snack" is a food and a drink to go with it, no, $5 is not enough.
