Your favorite mode of transportation? Cab? Shuttle?

We leave Wednesday so I need to get on this. I had planned on taking a cab but I'm not sure I want to bring my 3 year old's car seat. She doesn't weigh enough to use a booster w/seatbelt. If I did use the car seat, I would use it on the plane.

Our last trip to DL, she was under a year old and we took the car seat so we just hopped in a cab.

We do have two adults and two kids so a cab should be the same price.

The Dobies use a cab. But we don't need a car seat.

I've done both shuttle and cab. I would take the cab from now on because it's just easier and quicker too. There's no stoping for other guests at different hotels, which can be time consuming.

Approximately how much is a cab from SNA to DLR? Is there a surcharge for more than 1 passenger, or any other weird surcharges?

I did it a cab from SNA last September and it was $40. Plus a tip. So like $45.

we just did Primetime shuttle..3 adults, 1 4 year old....$15 bucks each way with a coupon off the orange county anaheim chamber site (also coupons for 10% off McDonalds food, 10% off IHOP, etc.). They were on time and we were the only ones in the van both ways.

That would be $15 total each way...complete cost was $30

We used a car service, they have a fleet of Lincoln Town Cars and a couple vans, pick you up and deliver you to where you want to go for $40? I think it was $40. There were 5 of us, so this is a substantial savings off the Disneyland Express.

But, a car service or van shuttle will require a car seat.

I would bring the seat, only because it's much safer for your 3yo to be in in a car seat on the plane anyways. We travel with a cosco scenera for my youngest, nice and lightweight.

If you're not bringing the seat, the only option is the DLRE. It's really quick if you're staying onsite, not sure on the timing for offsite hotels.

What company did you use? That's a pretty decent price! :)

Wow! That is a great deal as well!! Did you have to pre book? How did you find the shuttle ( their service)?

We usually use Prime Time Shuttle and that has always worked good for us. They quote their fares on their website. primetimeshuttle dot com. From SNA to Disneyland is quoted as $36 for three people.
