We were able to get a flight into DL arriving @ SNA around noon on a Saturday (even though we have to fly home from LAX)

There are 3 in our party, not sure whether to use the DL Express (as we will to get to LAX specifically based on price) or whether a shuttle/taxi would be more convenient/speedy/in same $ range?:confused3

*Found quite a few shuttle services listed on the Anihem Convention site; are any better/more reliable/reasonably priced than the others?

*Appears as though the taxi service isn't a set fare; but on the meter (shudder to think what would happen if we'd hit traffic mid-day):scared1:

*Does the DL Express bus make multiple stops in the park area? If so, wondering in what general order...onsite hotels first?

I found that using Super Shuttle with the entertainment book discount was a bit less than Disneyland Express was. Not a HUGE amount, but enough to push me towards SS!

Before, I just thought that SS price to any airport was the same, but SNA's price was just ridiculously low, compared to the Ontario airport (don't remember LAX price).

From what I have figured about Disneyland Express is that DLH is the official leaving point. So if you are leaving from there, you're on the way as soon as you get on at DLH. But coming *from* the airport, you're going to be among the last, *I think*. Might want to call them to get their words (though I have gotten two stories from them back in Sept on the same question...not *this* question, but another one I asked twice) and policy, though.

thank you!

the entertainment discount:confused: i have entertainment card (but for my home area - Pittsburgh)...is it a coupon in the Anaheim book or can i just show my card to get the discount?

ps what is the discount lol;)

If you're curious about cab rate, we were there last weekend and were charged a rate of $38 (not including tip) both ways.

seems reasonable, just worried about getting stuck in traffic & watching the meter keep ticking;)

You can use the card from your Entertainment book anywhere! If you go to the EB's website, you can even find super shuttle for the anaheim area, and book it through there (it has the code). Or look in your book for the coupon (it's in my western WA book). It's the same discount that a PP mentioned, $2 off each way, but hey, you paid for that book and card, you might as well use the discounts in there! :)

okie dokie, i'll just try & check it out online & try to input anaheim area for discounts (never thought of it lol) - since no coupon in my book

Adding info...in my book it's in the middle, in the Travel and Entertainment section. Blue section, between Universal Orlando's page of discounts and the start of the Entertainment & Sports section (which is red in my book). Just in case you hadn't checked there! :)

But I had to sort of force the coupon on the driver on my last SS trip; I think he would have been fine just letting me keep it, since I had booked online with the code on the coupon.

:guilty: :lmao: how did you know i didn't check the index:rolleyes1

yep, there it was....right between universal coupon & Disney on Ice

also good for $5 off execucar/sedan services - probably way more pricey.

ps - anyone know what the standard tip would be on this type of service?
thanks again for the trail of bread crumbs:thumbsup2
