Im looking into flying into SNA Orange County airport in Aug. Well be staying at the carousel inn. What are the options for getting to and from the airport? If its a taxi etc, what are the costs?

We have always used the Super Shuttle for transportation to and from the airport. You can also find coupon codes for them, and the one I just used was 10% one-way or 15% r/t. It was "QWEST". There are also taxi's, but I don't know what those run. Hope this helps!

The Dobies take a taxi and it takes about 15 minutes. It is usually 40 or 45 bucks.

I've always had a good experience with Super Shuttle. I book online using code UYR59, which gives you a $3 off discount each way. Book each person separately so each person can get the discount. It's nice to have everything paid for (including tip) ahead of time. Round trip transportation total ends up being less than $18 per person.

We are travelling by the Disneyland Express offered by Southern California Gray Lines. It is a greyhound type bus. We used this service from LAX and enjoyed the service and will use it again to get from SNA in July.

Basically it depends on how many people you have and whether you need a round trip or not and how long you are staying.
If I'm solo the Magical Express works which is $17 and on Mousesavers you can download a $3 off coupon. Nice thing about it is it runs every half hour or hour depending on when you arrive, no reservations needed.
If its 2 people and your times don't need to be flexible then I think Supershuttle might work to your advantage. I thought it was around $15 last time I took em, but you need to book in advance.
If you have 3 people you might as well take a cab. However, IMHO, since its round trip of $45 each way, at that point if I'm going to spend $100 including tip I've generally found its just cheaper/more convenient to rent a car (though that was before all the Harbor hotels started charging for parking! :scared1: ... now when we're staying on-site for points parking is included so you'd have to factor that in if you're staying someplace that charges for it).
Just my $0.02.

Have to chime in here for Super Shuttle. I use them every time I fly into SNA. $18 from the airport to Candy Cane Inn -- round trip! Takes a little longer than a taxi -- usually around 30 minutes, give or take -- but about five times cheaper! Highly recommended!
