Smoothies or such at Mara, any idea?

Does the Mara offer any specialty drinks? Like a smoothie or something. I know they have them at the pool bars, but I was wondering about what Mara offers.

Ok, do you know much about ordering a meal at the pool bar using a dining plan credit? Do they charge you anything extra like a delivery fee or tip with the dining plan? I have ordered drinks and such at pool bars in Disney, but not an actual counter service meal. Thanks.

No, sorry. Haven't done the meal plan in years, and didn't order from a pool bar when we did.

Seriously, Mara is right next to the pool. We sometimes get food at the mara and just walk out to eat it by the pool. I have gotten a virgin pina colada at the pool bar. Tasty, but I don't know if it counts nutritionally as a smoothy - hahaha

But the thing is if you use a counter service dining plan credit, I am assuming you can't split up the purchase. Get a meal at Mara and the drink at the pool bar?

Mara has smoothies. They are those pre-made slushy types. The “bakery” area of Mara has them. We used one of our DxDP credits at Mara for my DD9 when myself and my husband got sick (canceled our BoG dinner for that!! ), and she got a hamburger, rice, and smoothie slush thing. Mango? Like the Pog Juice. We also got a milk and brownie with two snack credits for her.

That was a depressing purchase.

Mara was our most disappointing part of AKL. It’s not “bad” just feels like an afterthought and shoehorned in off to the side. It’s small. Does not measure up to mods.

Of course it’s intentional. They want you to eat at their table service places (smart huh).

You’ll have a great time though!

Are you talking about getting it delivered to your room? If so, no, pool bars do not do that.

There is pizza delivery available at some resorts...mostly values...but they require 2 qs credits. That's the ONLY thing you're going to get delivered for QS credits that I know of.

Most deluxe resorts have private in-room dining, but certainly not for QS credits.
