Smoking in a Pool Home

Has anyone ever seen a listing for a pool home that allows smoking in the house? I have seen a few that allow smoking at the pool. With a large family group possibly travelling together I am hoping to keep everyone happy and at the same time keeping myself happy. I realize that we could stay at the Vistana Resort but there is a second requirement they want high speed internet access if possible.

I do not know of any who allow smoking inside the house. Most allow smoking just outside. If you do not find one that will allow you to smoke inside, make sure they have a portion of coverd lanai. If not it could make for a miserable vacation. We went down with smokers and they had no problem with using outdoors. The outside covered lania usually has cofortable furniture and seems like just an outdoor living room to all of us. We spend most of our time out doors at our home.

The majority of owners won't allow smoking indoors due to the fact that the smell of the smoke lingers and gets into furnishings and who knows - the next set of guests may have someone who has asthma in it. I do not know of any owner who doesn't allow smoking out side and as long as the butts are disposed of carefully I don't think you will have any trouble doing this .Should someone forget and smoke inside then you will find all the smoke alarms going off - plus the owner may retain some of your security deposit in order to pay for the extra cleaning of furniture that will need to be done.

My dh and BIL are smokers and they smoked on the lanai everytime and enjoyed being outdoors. We double checked that this was okay w/ the owner (and it was).
