Seriously? You're comparing smoking--which absolutely affects other people near the smoker--to eating junk food?I must ask though, where do we draw the lines with regulations? Should they ban alcohol? Fattening foods? Soda? The point I’m making is that freedom is important. Once you go down the rabbit hole of regulating health, where does it end? I think that there’s a way to coexist without all of the regulations.
As for alcohol, we do have regulations about that when it creates a danger to other people.
There's no "rabbit hole" or slippery slope argument to be made for fattening foods or sodas just because we have smoking and drinking laws.
