Very nice pictures, Shep. Thanks for sharing. We visited most of those same places on a family Smoky Mountain RV trip in '86, one of our best trips.

Would love to go back now that we have an RV. We liked the Cherokee Village in N.C. Since DS was 11 at the time we also hit the Ripley's Haunted place and everything else there on the strip I don't know if it's still the same but we found service at all the restaurants really poor. It seemed like they all had a shortage of waitstaff. DH just reminded me about some great ribs we had in Pigeon Forge (forgot the name)Corky's or Porky's I think.

It's a little river that flows in NC. We go by there on our way back home. Lots of people go White Water rafting down it. My SO has done that, he loved it. They went on one of the hottest days of the year and complained about freezing their tushies off.
