Things like this are the reason I'm not massively happy with having DDP.

We love offsite restaurants (have never eaten table service at WDW!!) and trying all places like this, but will probably only eat offsite once or twice this time :(

:goodvibes

I was really worried before last August. So many places we like to eat and we were going to be tied to Disney but we enjoyed it so much we booked again for even longer so I say you need to try it. We are still looking forward to this trip offsite but will also enjoy Disney dining next time.
No way would I pay most of Disney dining prices so just making the most of it while its affordable. Plenty years ahead hopefully for offsite.:goodvibes

I am looking forward to it, I'm just not looking forward to it at the same time, if that makes sense.

Looking forward to trying lots of places we wouldn't normally try, but not looking forward to missing out on all my favourites!
We will make a special trip to the Cheesecake Factory, and I'll make sure I make my trip to Wendy's too :lmao:

i see you are staying onsite at US, as the food is dire and v expensive, maybe that would be a good time to make a trip off site:rotfl2:

www.Restaurant.com

is another excellent site. Works slightly differently you actually buy vouchers for the restaurants they offer but you can get great deals like $50 for $15 and things like that. Sign up for the emails and they often have offers on like right now where you enter a voucher code (this months is MEAL) and get a $25 voucher for $2.

There are some restrictions but we've never found them bothersome.

The ''best'' restaurants usually go earlier in the month some becoming out of stock on the 1st of each month. Melting Pot is usually one of them but Outback is usually on there for most of each month.

I keep looking but never managed to find anything on www.Restaurant.com
Many get bargains though when the 90% discount codes are about.
O'Charley's 8081 Turkey Lake Road is on there I heard is good value with the voucher also House of Blues
I looked at buying a $50 voucher before our Easter trip, only problem was you had to spend $100 to use it which we wouldn't.

Only Outback I see on there regular is The Outback Restaurant 1900 Buena Vista Drive, this is not Outback most use, its at Buena Vista Palace hotel. http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/26/3027...ake-Buena/Outback-Steakhouse-Lake-Buena-Vista

I guess it depends on what type of thing you are after.

That site is worth is so worth it for us for the Melting Pot vouchers alone which save us at least $20 every time and the only restrictions are that you go Sun-Thurs and have at least 1 cheese fondue and 2 entrees (We do that easily lol) So I love this site.

Some vouchers do have high restrictions though you are right. I avoid those as there are only 2 of us so we would not meet a $100 min.

They say they have Shula's onboard too though I have never seen them on there for Orlando which is a shame but I keep looking and hoping.

We don't eat at Outback so I've never noticed that ones in the hotel not the one by Premiums.

I signed up before our Dec trip to lots of restaurants. It helps to have a birth date & anniversary whilst you are away!

Best deals were buy 1 get 1 free at Village inn, perkins, mimi's cafe, tony roma's, sweet tomaotoes and a 50% off texas de brasil. Denny's and craker barrell also sent me a money off coupon.

Just do it just before you fly as they are short dated.

Yes i do get alot of emails but they make me smile and I forward any of use on to someone who is going in May.
