My house smells like smoke. There was a big brush fire a couple of miles from my house earlier today. They said on the news it is out, but the wind must have shifted. It smells really strong. The dog is pacing and one of the cats keeps going to the door and putting her paws up like she wants out.
The fire was very close to the Summerport housing development. I know of at least one DIS member who lives in Summerport. I hope the fire has not rekindled!
Now, the dog wants out. I really don't want to open the door. Yuck!!!
