I did. Last minute today I picked up a hitting/catching baseball net for $5.00.

M is grilling out tonight. I put the frozen chicken in the fridge last night and it's still frozen. So I have to go buy more.

Usually if you put it in a bowl of

(not boiling) water it will defrost quickly.

First of all Gio, thank you for your post. *hug* to you for your loss too. Today has been a good day since its TJ's birthday today and I am grateful to have my family around me.

Here's what I found at the garage sales yesterday:
found cute outfits for 50 cents each at one house. At the same house, they gave me their hamster house for free. He said, take it in your van and see how you like having it (like a test drive). He really wanted to get rid of it. I ended up taking it. R really wants a hamster and since we'll be homeschooling, she'll hopefully be able to take care of it better.

I found a two tier bookcase for $10.00 in great condition to house homeschool books and materials. I was real excited about that deal.

I found a couple things for my house. A bird house for $1.00 and a basket for $2.00.

I am a bargain hunter

After getting the bookcase I felt my shopping had hit its peak. I was done, so I went home.

There's another neighborhood garage sale tomorrow that I'd like to hit, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it. I prefer neighborhood garage sales simply b/c I have such a poor sense of direction. My chances are so much greater finding the houses- lol.

It's good for kids to have a pet to take care of, it teaches them responsibility

, just don't throw it in the washing machine or anything like that They are so small and if they get out of their cage......well you don't want that to happen. I didn't realize you were homeschooling, did you have that planned all along or was that a recent decision? Your not going back to work, are you?

Is it hot there today We are suppose to get to 96 today we skipped through the 70 and 80s I guess and right on to the 90's

is the ac working ok

we haven't even come close to those numbers, i think it's going to get chilly this week, I have to check the weather again
