SmileyCentral- Harmful?

Could someone set me straight, please? I heard these SmileyCentral graphics are harmful to your computer. Is that true? Thanks!

I've tried to download it twice and my computer came to a standstill both time. I would not do it.

Well, I downloaded it onto my work computer and a few weeks later, my 'puter started acting up. The IT guy came to fix it, saw it was on there, erased it and yelled at me.....so, draw your own conclusions

Okay, another question:

How do you remove it from your computer?

On mine, I have a "my computer" icon. If I click on it, it brings up a window and one of my choices is Add/Remove programs. Open that and find SmileyCentral, click on it and it should high light it and on the right side it says "remove". Hit that and it will uninstall.

Smilie Central will push a lot of ugly adware and malware down to your computer. Even if you uninstall, you won't clean up all the extra junk it leaves behind.

I just recently read that currently, SmileyCentral installs FOURTEEN programs into your computer, and then whenever they add another one, they install it onto your computer too, as "updates." I think if you do add/remove, and then follow up with anti-spyware program, you should be fine.
