It takes a bit of getting used to. I'm so used to the 'old' way that I am frustrated at not being able to find things and navigate the way I used to.
But it much more modern technology than the vBulletin layout and lets face it....the old boards were rather clunky. We just learnt to deal with it and it became part of the fabric of the Dis.

I'm hoping to spend a bit more time this weekend checking out this platform; but so far....I have to say that I'm quite happy with what I've seen. It'll be great to be able to upload pics directly without having to use a 3rd party platform like Photobucket. I like the 'like' button (I think that's because I've gotten used to using it on FB) and it will mean that I probably won't post a response to every single post in order to express that I 'like' a post. I also like the speed.

And it'll be great to be able to use the @ function so that I can alert a fellow Disser to check in a post. For example..... @kimmar067 Here's my take on the new format.
