S.C., and I chatted tonight, and I came up with an idea to try to make this thread happening again. I will post a QOTD-question of the day either the night before for the following day, or on that day. So to kick things off, here is the first question of the day.


If you were a talk show host for a day, what would your main topic be about?

I am so ready for a vacation right now and I would love for it to be a cruise. So it would have to be about cruise vacations.

My topic would be......... DISNEY WORLD!!!! Maybe I'd have Samantha Brown on as a guest.

I would choose to talk about interesting foods, and food combinations. There are alot of interesting ones out there.

wow, you guys took all the good topics so I guess I would have to go with the interesting subject of rock formations

If you were to buy three store bought snacks-chips, cookies, ice cream....what would you choose?

I love potato chips, well I should say sometimes I love them, it's seems to me that they have a flat taste to them anymore, I think they may be making them differently.

Bet you can't eat just one.......

Never heard of butter pecan, but it sounds yummy.

My daughter is starting her garden. She picked out an impatients plant, and a zinnia plant. Then the Garden Fairy-(me) ...I had planted other flowers for her. I am hoping I am able to find more plants, and decorations for her garden to surprise her. We will need to wait maybe another two or three weeks for her seeds to be ready to be planted.

I planted my basil from seed a couple months ago and now they are ready to be transplanted to bigger pots and go outside (they've been in my windowsill) we also have tomato plants and hot peppers-we put them in big pots and put them out on our deck, they will be ready by late July or early August. Basil will be ready by June. Thinking about getting some other stuff but not sure how much room I'll have on my deck for it.

If you were to star in a t.v. show, what show would it be?

The Housewives of NYCj/k but it is the only reality show I actually watch. I don't watch alot of sitcoms or drama to much so maybe some show on Food TV or HGTV, or how about that old show that use to be on with Robin Leech, the Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous?? Oh wait, Lucas had the idea with the others question, I would want to be the star of Samantha Browns TV show, I think she has a couple of them.....Great hotels, weekend getaways, whichever one, not fussy.

What sort of dishes do you make with your basil? I am not an herb person other than chives, onions, Thai basil, and cilantro... so growing all of the other types of herbs is sort of new. I grew some before, but they just grow, and I give them away or they end up eventually dying.
