One of our local hangouts is gonna be on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives tonight! It is the Whale's Rib in Deerfield Beach, FL. YUM! Whale fries!

Hey, I know that place, I've been to it. Good prime rib, it's right next door to another place I've been and I can't think of the name....maybe Finnegan's? I know it's an Irish name, good wings there

Here is the blurb from the local newspaper. The restaurant/dive is maybe about 2 1/2 - 3 miles from our house.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Whale’s Rib in Deerfield Beach, Florida, will be one of three locations that Guy Fieri visits on the Food Network’s wildly popular show, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” on Monday, 8/31 at 10:00 P.M. ET. The episode, titled “Only at this Joint”, will take viewers into the Deerfield Beach restaurant and expose them to the food and atmosphere that has made the location a hit with locals and tourists for years. The episode premieres Monday night, but will air multiple times afterwards.

After two days of trying to give up soda, I gave in. I had getting a headache from the withdrawls.

I can sympathize, I have an addiction also. I have now tried to go to the zero soda's (diet) but it's just not the same

. I also drink flavored seltzer, which is ok with alot of ice.

My daughter's friend is coming over shortly, so this will be a loud house with three kids. But, we are planning on making cards, baking cookies, and having some water play time outside.

I had the BEST NIGHT last night. I haven't had a night like that in SO LONG! I'll have to go find what I said in another thread about my night last night.
