Since the Idol concert was 1 1/2 hours drive from home we decided to stay overnight and had made reservations at the Crowne Plaza. They had door to door shuttle service which saved us from :drive: in all that traffic and the $15 parking fee. :)

We decided since we were this close to Rain Forest Cafe (3 miles away) that we would eat there before heading home. It is the only RFC in Michigan that I know of. So we went there for lunch

this made me think of ODF :sail: and we decided to try the Rasta Pasta. Neither of us was very hungrary so we split an order, It was delicious

RFC is in Great Lakes Crossings Mall (we had never been there before) DH suggested walking the whole mall to check it out. DH.

We bought a few things at the Disney store for the grandkids. window shopped a lot, walked thru a lot of stores, and they had a store that sold the items you see on TV infomercials. Was interesting to see how cheap made most of that stuff really is . 3 hrs later we left the mall to go home.

We have a mall not to far from me where they use to have a Rainforest Cafe but they closed it up. Now it's another Cheescake Factory. We also have one of those TV stores, it's funny some of the stuff you find in there, most of it is junk I don't need but every once in awhile I think it's junk that I need and buy it and then bring it home and never use it:rotfl2:

Your welcome. :)

It was our first concert at a huge place. We learned for next time to get seats on the side and up a little for better viewing, they're cheaper too. When everyone stands up which most do for almost all of the show this short person had a hard time seeing the stage. Good thing they had the big screens. :goodvibes

I went to a McCartney concert last month and if it wasn't for the big screens I wouldn't have known who was up there on stage

There is a shuttle launch at 12:59pm tonight. If it is clear enough, we'll get to see it from our front yard. Night launches are the BEST!!! :yay:

did it ever end up taking off, I though I heard weather may be a factor:confused3

How neat. Wish we were able to see something like that. :wizard:

We use to stay at a hotel in Cocoa Beach, Florida where they use to put the NASA schedule in the lobby of all the launchings because if you happened to be at the hotel at the time of the launch you would have a really good view of it. We never saw one from there but I did see one at WDW.

We learn about the creation of a child,Early devolpement of a child, birth, the thoughts of a child, nutrition of the child, and we get to take home a simulation baby....it cries you have to change it and treat it like a real baby. I picked one up yesterday in class and holy cow it's like 8 or 9 pounds and feels like a real baby. Even the neck if you don't support it falls back. :scared1:

That sounds like a great class, that should be mandatory in all schools:teacher:

Today has just been so crazy busy, did a lot of running around today....At my house, we have a cat who is/has been struggling with getting rid of flees. My dad and I went shopping for food that we'll be cooking tomorrow when my brother's family come over and some other family as well, and then went to Pet Smart (or whatever that store is called...), and bought some soap that we will be using for my cat Bootsy tomorrow morning. Good grief...I have no idea who will be washing the cat in the morning, I know I won't, I'll be sleeping. :teeth: Then, we went out to get some dinner and that was nice...lol, came back home and I watched some TV with my Mom as she's still recovering from her hip replacement she had last week. Some of the stories on the News today were really heartbreaking stories...:sad1: even though, I did read up on a few of them, seeing they were/still are on Yahoo! and AOL. Upsetting is what it is, really. :sad2:

There's a fire happening in CA right now, I don't really remember where it is? Kind of tired to think right now, lol. But, it's been smelling bad here from all the smoke and stuff in the air from it. My dad and I saw this huge, HUGE cloud of smoke today as we were driving back home...scary stuff. :scared1: No need to worry....we're not that close to it, but aren't far from it either.

BUT....a happy thought that me and my dad got to do is, we got to hang out for a while and got what we needed to get done today. On the way home, we listened to Michael Jackson in the car. That was so much fun.

Hope everyone's week has been going great, and that you're all having a safe wonderful weekend. :hippie:

concentrate on the happy thoughts.

Have you used a flea collar on your cat, that's what I use to use on my cat, it worked pretty good, but you have to change every couple of months
