Yes, it is very slow .
My husband's friend, and wife came over, and like always just like our other friend, they come empty handed. I am not saying that they need to bring something, but they pick all sorts of things from here all the time. Today, they picked a bag of avocado, some coffee beans, a bag of green papaya, and this other vegetable. That is not the way that I was raised.

It's not the way I was raised either. I come from an Italian backround and when you go to someone's home, you always bring something. It is a shame people don't have common sense.

gas keeps changing everyday but just recently it was $2.76 for regular/per gallon. I spend maybe between $2.50 and $3.50 for a loaf of bread depending on what I'm buying, I usually like those multi grain/whole wheat breads.

That must be difficult, it sounds like people take advantage of your situation....not very nice Maybe you should explain to them that it costs you money to grow things and maintain the farm or you could set up a donation jar or something, they would have to contribute to something like that
