Smashed Pennies??

Can you get smashed pennies in all the parks or just MK? Wondering how many rolls of quarters I'm gonna need.

You can get them in all of the parks and at some of the resorts too. My hubby and I both brought a roll of quarters and lots of pennies. I just tried to pick the ones that I loved the most and got those. Of course every time you go back, you try to get different ones. It's fun trying to find the machines in the shops and by the rides. My kids like it too!

Each pressed penny machine has three different choices. Usually DD wants all three! There are machines all over, including the hotels.
Make sure you get a pressed penny book prior, then once you get a penny, put it immediately in your book. This way you can keep track of what you have.
I usually keep the quarters/pennies in those mini M&M tubes, they are great and you don't have to mess around your backpack/bum bag looking for quarters/pennies.
I would say bring at least two rolls of quarters and 40 pennies. This way if you really get into it, you'll have enough. Also there are 6 spaces for pressed quarters in the books ($1.25 per press) so account for any pressed quarters you might want
I found the new shiney pennies work the best, but others will dispute this.
DD and DS love collecting them. DD has almost filled her second book, and hasn't had a duplicate yet!

I've just checked my DS' from last time & there is certainly afew from Epcot ,MGM ,AK as well as some $ ones celebrating the 100 years.If you're doing any of the non WDW parks they also do them!After all 51cents to geta pressed penny back is esay money!
No doubt we'll be collecting them this time as well!! SD

Thanks! We got our pressed penny book today and are ready to fill it up. My daughter loves those machines. She is so excited.
