Smart idea or dumb idea?

I just ordered 1000 Fridge Door sized magnets with my business / website on them.

I was actually thinking of just putting them on the hood of my car when I am in parking lots. Maybe I'll have a magnet made up that says "Take One"....

I think it is a cute idea, but you have more faith in humanity than I do. I just drove up to the ATM today at the bank and there were hundreds of deposit envelopes all over the ground. It takes a good tug to pull them out of the machine so I know they didn't just fall out. People will do obnoxious things when they think nobody is looking. I definitely wouldn't put them on a nicer car.
