One of the new instructors at the gym where I go (Toronto in the Manulife Centre) mentioned today that he just got back from working on a cruise line. I asked him after class which one, and......you guessed it.........he was on DCL. He was on the Wonder from late Feb 2005 until a few weeks ago. He was a character helper (ie walked the characters around and helped with autographs and pictures etc. I think his name is Ryan from Canada. And he told me that another guy that works at the gym was also on the Wonder doing the exact same job and his name is Chris.
Anyway - needless to say I thought it was a pretty small world. They both ended up starting their contracts the next cruise after we got off the Wonder in Feb '05. Now I'll have to see whether they plan on going back for another work term. Maybe I'll have to convince them to go on the Magic for our Nov '06 trip.
