small vow renewal

I was thinking that it would be fun to renew our vows while on our WDW vacation. I don't want to spend thousands of dollars. I would just like a teeny-tiny ceromony with my kids. Has anyone done this?

This is kind of a tricky question...'cause it all depends on what you really envisioned and what you are looking for.

It is my understanding that if you want to do a vow renewal on Disney property you will have to at least purchase the "Intimate wedding/vow renewal" package. The most cost-effective way to do that is to do the "Intimate Add-On" which is about $2300 (unless you chose the Wedding Pavilion as your location, then it costs more). That would include your officiant, violinist, 4 hour limosine service, bouquet and boutoniere (for you and groom), photography, and a cake and champagne reception. With the add-on, you would have to book your rooms and purchase your park tickets separately. And you would have to stay on Disney property at least 4 nights.

Now, you may have decided that's a bit more than you wanted to spend. You can go off-site to many locations and probably get something quite a bit less. There are several brides here planning to do that. I'm pretty sure you can do a google search for "Orlando weddings" and see what you can find.

You could try the Swan package i believe it's about 1200 or something like that!!! and it's GORGEOUS there!!!

Thanks for the imput guys. That is a bit more $$$ then I wanted to spend maybe we will wait longer and go for it in a couple of years.
