Small update on my situation, good and bad news

(((Jean)))) I am so sorry you had to wait :(

Oh, Jill, I'm so sorry you had to go thru this.
I had been watching all day for an update on you, and then I almost missed this.
I know you must have been stressed and depressed
knowing you will now have to wait another week.

The info from the DR. sounds VERY good tho.
Just the fact that it is so small is very good news.
And remember it could very well be what they call fatty tissue.
I suppose you went for a needle biopsy?

I think the one you are being scheduled for now may be where they mark the area with a wire and dye,
so the Drs. are sure they are in the right area
for biopsy?
I prefer an actual surgical biopsy
where they operate to remove the lump,
for piece of mind, and just in case,
they don't have to go back in again.

Do you have Dr. Susan Love's Breast Book?
It is an excellent source of info esp. for those with a family history.

Remember you are doing all the right things, getting your mammos and self exams, and following through.

Hang in there, sweetie, this too shall pass.
Try to put it out of your mind for the rest of the week.
You can allow yourself to worry the night before, okay. :)
You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Hugs, Marilyn
PM me if I can be of any help or just to chat.

A bummer, Jill, but encouraging at the same time. Thought of you often today, hoping things were going well, wondering how your day was going as we were moving along in ours.

So tough, as you say, to psyche up and then a no-go. Well, a few more days to tough it out, Jill. You will remain in our prayers and good wishes. An email, PM or call away, anytime. My best, and thank you too.

Dan

Oh Jill, sorry you have to wait even longer. Waiting is agonizing & stressful I know. :( More prayers for peaceful patience, and of course good results.

So sorry you couldn't get it done today. The news is very hopeful though.:) I will keep you in my prayers.

 Jill

Positive thoughts & prayers going your way. The news sounds encouraging, though, and that's good.

Oh how aggravating! But at least there is some good news about it. Hang in there and I hope the next few days go by fast for you so you can get that over with.

Sorry that you still have to wait! :( Still sending good thoughts your way...

Another Jill...

Sorry your surgery had to be put off until next week. But I am very glad to hear the encouraging news. Best wishes to you

Jill,

Still saying prayers and keeping good thoughts for you!!

The waiting is very hard. Hang in there and keep thinking of the good. Here's hoping everthing goes well next week.

Maray, this procedure is a little different than a surgical biopsy. You lay on a table on your stomach, and the table has a hole for the breast to go through. Then a mammogram-type machine compresses you so that a computerized scalpel can make an incision in the exact right place. Then a hollow needle extracts the tissue they need.

It sure as heck doesn't sound like a lot of fun, and they only give you a local anesthetic. What surprises me is that they said it takes 60-90 minutes. I'm nervous because I have a hard time laying my stomach for that length of time because of my ruptured disc. I am such a mess.

Saying more prayers and wishing you the best of luck:hug:

Oh Jill, so sorry to hear of the delay. Prayers to you. You are in ALL of our thoughts here. Thank you for the update. Hugs to you.

Will continue good thoughts for you as you wait once again. Prayers continuing!!!!!
