Small trip Report.....

Hello Just a Quick little Trip Report On my Anniversary trip with my bride of 5 yrs.
We go to the Fort on 11:00 am on the 23rd. It was an uneventful trip down.
Few pic of the 5 % grade at Monteagle TN just north of Chattanooga.

Got in on 11:00 am on the 23rd. Got right in. On we just looped around and settled in to what we thought was our site for the next 5 nights. (839)

The next day started our package. The CM made a mistake and we had to move. I was not happy. They comp’ed us our stay for the one night and gave us some fast passes. We moved to site 601

Monday AM- I had a sweetish massage set up for my wife at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. On our way back

Mon Night we had dinner at the Boma at AK lodge. I love that place.

Wed we did Hollywood Studios and dinner at Prime 50 diner

Thurs we did the Luau.

And What would be a trip with out a visit to the ER. Wife got a blister that got infected- Bad .

Left Friday about 2:30. had a slow but steady trip home got here about 12:45 yesterday.......
Now planing for the next trip!



P.S. Who is the DIS'er with the big 5th wheel and the Pete Pull Veh. Nice set up!

Happy anniversary! Nice TR.. Hope the blister is better by now!. Why did they ask you to move? I am glad to hear that they at least compensated you for some of your inconvenience

I tried to get by and catch you at your site but unfortunately our paths never crossed. The weather turned out quite nice for the whole trip. Alot better than what was forecast before arriving.

I will try and post a picture of the set-up. I was so busy I only got one picture of the site, but I was proudly showing the DIS sign in the windshield. I don't think a single person actually noticed the DIS sign. I think their eyes got stuck on the size of the truck. I only had one person that was brave enough to climb in it and take a look. It is a bit cumbersome for getting groceries, but it can haul a ton or three or four, literally.

I ran by your site a few time but saw so signs of life. I do like your set up. I am a big truck guy. worked for Navistar as an instructor and aways wand to get my hands on a 9400 for a tow Veh. and set it up kinda like yours. But now my new plan is to get a smoker in my C
