We are going to WDW the week after spring break & are looking to save some cash on food this trip as we are staying off site & not doing the DDP. Does anyone know if a styrofoam cooler counts as a hard sided cooler once in the parks? I am a nurse at an outpatient clinic that receives some of our medications in small but very thick styrofoam coolers (similar to what Omaha Steaks, etc ships their food in). I've measured them & compared them to the locker sizes & they will fit in the large lockers but I'm worried about getting them through security. They don't have wheels or a handle so clearly we can't carry them around the park with us, but I don't want to get to the gate & be turned away with all that food either. Leaving them in the car won't be an option d/t the heat at the end of April.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Since the policy is soft-sided coolers, I do not think styrofoam would be acceptable.
