Hi.

I'm hoping that I still have readers with me on my TR journey. I've not spent much time on the DIS so I don't blame you guys for leaving me.

Working on an update though if anyone is still reading.

If memory serves me right, we slept in a bit on Day 6. Honestly, I can't remember. I know, I should have taken notes.

I do remember though watching Small Potatoes and checking out our trick or treat loot from the night before.

We were spending the day at DHS with Jenn. I think we had breakfast at Starring Rolls, but again, I cannot remember. Man, I feel stupid.

When we first arrived at DHS we went on GMR. I can never get decent pics here.

We were meeting Jenn at Sci-Fi for an early lunch. Our ADR was around 11. Jenn had gone earlier to DHS so that she could register Jack for the Star Wars Training Academy so we met at Sci Fi right at 11.

We were seated pretty quickly. Joe and I had not been to Sci Fi in years and years. I don't remember the food being all that but the atmosphere is awesome. Actually, the food this time was pretty good too.

After our lunch, Jenn had to take off pretty quickly and get Jack over for his lesson. We finished up and mosied on over.

Here are some of the pics that I took myself of the training session. I have a ton of awesome ones that are on our photopass cd which I still need to upload. I will likely share all of the PP pics at the end of my TR.

The kids had a great time. It was so dang hot that day though that I was miserable. I honestly thought that I was going to pass out...seriously.

After Jack's battle with Darth V, we rode Star Tours .... again. I love what they've done to it!

After Star Tours, we made our way to Indiana Jones. I have not seen that show in so long that I can't even remember when the last time we saw it was. OMG, the people they picked out of the audience were hilarious. Joe spotted the "plant" immediately...by his super, duper white tennies. LOL.

After the show, I think Joe and I called it a day and headed back to the resort for a bit. We were so miserable that I think that was when we decided that we'd probably not be back to Disney in September for more than a few days again due to the heat. It was absolutely horrible.

From what I remember, we had dinner at the resort that night. It must not have been memorable because I have no pictures.

I remember taking a walk that evening and taking a few pictures of the resort at night.

We watched a bit of tv and then called it a night.

Here we were at Day 7 of our trip already. Man, time was flying by fast.

We got up a bit early and got to see Small Potatoes again. Yay!

We headed back to DHS again, this time we were meeting Stef and Dave.

We met at Starring Rolls for breakfast which was yummy. From there, Joe and Stef wanted to ride ToT, but Dave and I decided to sit this one out.

Dave and I had a nice chat while we waited for Joe and Stef. Once they finished, we went over to RnRC. I sat that one out too.

After that, we made our way to the other side of the park.

First stop was the Muppets. I just love that show.

After the show I really wanted to meet Phineas and Ferb but holy crap, the line was looooonnnnnngggggggggggggggg....so we skipped it.

We did however go into the Muppet Store.

Photos feast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love all the photos, Sophia, just what I needed right now (have been correcting English tests all day )

Tell me about the heat in August and September, but it's the only time we can go away for a longer period of time, so we have to deal with it.
I DON'T blame you for calling it a day early, sometimes it just gets overwhelming with the heat and all.

Keep the photos coming - I still have 5 more tests to correct!

Great photos of the Studios. I cracked up over Joe and Dave with the hats. Love hte pic of all of you at SCi-Fi.

It WAS really hot this September. It doesn't usually bother us, but it sure seemed hotter than usual. Unfortuantely, we don't have a lot of options of dates in October with Mark's work schedule so we are pretty much stuck with September.

I couldn't believe how hot and humid it was in September. We've been early-ish before and its never been that humid. But I agree with you, next time will be towards the end of and more October

Sorry it was so hot!! I can't do any month between mid Mid to October at WDW! It's just too hot for my northern blood! The beginning of May was almost to hot this past year! I'm glad you got to rest and cool down though! that's what vacation is about!

ok, havent replied to MNSSHP!! anywho, really loved CP for dinner! Glad I gave in and tried another dinner buffet!

That night was so fun, but felt MUCH different than years past Idk about you guys, but I felt like we got nothing done and paid a crazy amount for just some candy...candy which has since been tossed :/

Really crossing my fingers for that Feb 2013 trip with you guys!

Just got caught up on your trip report. I love all the great pics. We love Sci Fi and it is hard to get good pics in there since it is dark, your camera did great. Did the kids like the Jedi training? I wonder if Darth Vader was scary to some of the young children?

The guys really got into the hats. It was pretty funny!

The heat was just ridiculous this year. We have gone for our anniversary just about every year since we got married but sheesh, the heat this time was awful.

Jack loved Jedi training. It didn't seem like any of the kids were afraid of Vader though. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves.
