Hello there, I had gastric bypass a year ago and I am trying to navigate Disney Restaurants. I would like to know the restaurants with the best appetizer menus. I can only eat small amounts. This can cause issues when my husband and I go out. So I am looking for good restaurants that have both a good apps menu and entree menu. We are annual passholders so any park is great for us. Any suggestions.

You may want to look at signature restaurants, they tend to go for quality over quantity on the food.

Cali Grill & The Wave both have a good app selection. I haven't eaten there yet but The Boathouse at DS looks like they have a good app (& dinner) menu as well.

I hate the feeling of being full or stuffed, so I'm the appetizer queen. Spice Road Table, Bluezoo, Flying Fish, CG.

In our experience, most if not all sit downs and signatures have great appetizer options. Spice Road is great. Sanaa in AKL is another great choice. Good luck and enjoy.

A couple I recently enjoyed were Spice Road Table and Tiffins lounge. Most lounges have menus with appetizer type things. The bread service at Sanaa is also good.

I am an app as my entree person and I find delicious options at almost every TS restaurant.

I also love the Nomad Lounge.

Capa (inside Four Seasons) has the best selection of 'small plates' at Disney.

Paddlefish & Boathouse have selection of seafoods like oysters, clams, etc.

Spice Road Table, Nomad Lounge, and Homecoming. Also, if you are going during one of the Epcot festivals, the food booths often have smaller portions. The Quick Service often have smaller portions too, like Friar Nooks and Sommerfest.

Not sure if you are looking for only table service but for a quick bite, I always get the pot stickers at Lotus Blossom. Perfect since I can just walk around with them (I get the duck sauce packets) and snack when I want. Husband likes the orange chicken.

I agree the signature restaurants all seem to have good choices. Nomad Lounge gets a big ole thumbs up from me, loved it and so did Abacadabar at BW. I don't eat large meals so I almost always just order an appetizer and soup or salad. I also eat kid's meals at QS and love me some F&G and F&W, we tend to eat all our meals except breakfast at the booths.

Did Abracadabar start serving food?! When we were there in September, it was just cocktails and snack mix (which our server never gave us :guilty:)

We eat small portions throughout the day and Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar has some great small portion items on their menu, it will be on the top of our list next trip. Most table service restaurants and lounges are good choices for small meals also.

I think you are right about that, alcohol may have been involved, thus the memory isn't what it should be. We did eat at Flying Fish that night so I might be muddling it all up in my mind.

:tinker:Thank you to everyone for the suggestions. It is hard to balance what I can and cannot eat at Disney. Puking is not fun while visiting. I have to be careful with the fat and sugar portions as well. We will be back at DW next Wednesday so we will take the suggestions to heart. Thanks so much.

Although they don't have large entrée choices, The Starbucks at Disney Springs has a nice small plates menu - I believe they begin offering it late afternoon.
