small plastic lampshade

I have a target Room Essentials™ Blue Floor Lamp 5 head. Well the peice that holds the shade on loosed and the shade ended up on the bulb causing the shade to burn and drip melting plastic all over my floor. Anyone know where I can buy a new plastic shade for this lamp?

they dont sell replacment shades for this lamp.

Both my dd's colleges prohibit lamps with plastic lamp shades. Evidently they are fire hazards. The dorm rooms were inspected on a regular basis and many many lamps were confiscated during the years they were there.

You might want to consider another type of lamp, especially after your experience.

It was just because the shade was loose. If I could find glass or another type of shade that would fit, I would. I may just have them as bare bulbs for awile.

Try Home Depot or Lowes. Also try to contact the manufacture and see if they sell replacement shades.
