Another question about what's allowed in your checked baggage.

What about a small fan? I can't sleep without the noise and would like to take my fan with me. Any clue if they will let me take it in my checked baggage. I don't know how strict they are being about what's in your checked baggage as opposed to your carry-on. I would imagine that they wouldn't let me take it in my carry-on. Anyone gone through this?

You will have no problem checking a small fan in your luggage. Heck, box it up and take a large one as long as it isn't over the size/weight limits. You'd be suprised what people check.
