I bought candy making supplies from my friend's store today

I also started a sales event today on a consignment type site for my small business.

I saw the AMEX special but I don't have one of their cards. Too bad!

Taking the whole family out to our favorite sushi place tonight and will receive the AMEX $25.00. As a true budget minded person, I am also using a groupon as well as a gift card I bought from them that cost $50.00 for $60.00 worth of food. In addition, I will have them stamp my VIP loyalty card for future discounts.

I went to a local toy store. I spent $27. I bought Christmas gifts and when I got home, had the email from AMEX saying I'd get the credit in 3-5 days.

I bought a water filter for my refrigerator from the family owned appliance store I bought all my kitchen and laundry appliances from. My family has bought all our appliances and TV's there for two full generations. Their service is wonderful; much better than the big box stores.

Spent 60.00 on xmas gifts at the local fabric/fur/flower shop this morning. Going grocery shopping at the local store now and having pizza delivered by local pizzeria. Support the stores!!My Dad was a small business owner! Try to do alot of shopping in town.

Ended up getting 2 presents at the local drug store and at a frame shop. Had lunch at the local burger joint. It was fabulous! Made it to the chocolate shp and got some mini truffles.

Sometimes things just work out.

Signed up for the Amex promo, but couldn't get the link to work to find some local businesses that were participating.

Went out of town and forgot the promo.

Had lunch in a nice seafood restaurant.

Came home and found that I qualified for the $25 with an email right after our lunch!
