I will be traveling with a 2 yr old and a stroller but I am looking for something small that I can easily take on rides with us -I plan on leaving non-valuable items in the stroller (diapers, wipes etc) but would like something tiny to take on for my money etc-any ideas??:confused3

It may not be your style, but we just got back two weeks ago and I used a very lightweight Vera Bradley hipster and it was great. I probably could have gotten by with the Mini Hipster - just held small amount of money, Key to the World, camera, and that is pretty much it - oh, also blister covers and my sunglasses when I went on a ride.

Have a great time!!:)

I use the Vera Bradley hipster too. It's light weight and easy to get into. It easily will hold a camera, room keys, a small hair brush and other small items.

I usuall use a small very compact backpack (kind of like a backpack style purse). Don't know who it's made by as it is packed away with the suitcases at the moment.

With a 2 year old you won't be going on any wild rides, but I found the backpack style worked for me because even on the Rock n Rollercoaster it worked - I could stick my legs through the straps so it wouldn't go flying out on the inverts. If you want something you can detach from yourself and put into one of the storage nets on the attractions, that could also work for you. I just struggle with hipster things for some reason - I always manage to get the darn thing twisted around the back of me ....! Just though I'd offer an alternative.

I use a Vera Bradley big back pack, with the mini-hipster inside- to take out when I just don't want the whole bag. I found on many rides etc it was no big deal to have the backpack, but when I just wanted the essential the mini hipster is perfect (phone, keys to the world card for whole family, the small camera, small sunblock, and hand wipes)

Everyone was talking about this Vera Bradley so I looked it up. Cute. But I wanted to mention I have a bag that looks to be almost exactly the same size but with an external cell phone pocket and a wider cotton web strap that I use when I just want to carry a couple of things. I got it at the Army Navy surplus store. They don't have the super cute patterns but the bag has separate zipper compartments (2 on top, one in front, one inside) and it cost under $20.

I have a Baggalini backpack that I am going to bring. It is super lightweight and can be used as either a backpack or shoulder bag.

It lies really flat but can expand to hold a water bottle if needed. I have used it for a lot of day trips with the kids and I really love it.

I bought the Baggalini messenger bag for my last trip but I found it really uncomfortable for some reason.
