Small backpack for the parks?

I'm looking for a small backpack for my next trip. I don't care fr the sling bags. And I don't really want to spend a fortune on it. Any suggestions?

I have a black Eddie Bauer mini backpack that I love. Jansport makes a similar one if you do a search online. But it is small! I found I needed a full sized backpack when we went in December (but we were also carrying fleeces too), I used a Timberland one then.

Vera Bradley has a small backpack that is lightweight with lots of pockets.

I had gotten a small backpack at Wal-Mart some years ago. I think it cost around $10, but I don't remember the brand. I wore it like a fanny pack and it was great!
