Cooking Slush Cake?

My co-workers husband works in an assisted living facility and one of the residents has asked for a "slush" cake to be included as one of the desserts. Does anyone have a recipe? I thought it was a fruity cake with cool whip and jello, but when we look up recipes, we see a lot of chocolate?
