SlumberPod for babies and toddlers -- worth it?

That’s great to know! When you did the one bedroom villa, did you have DD sleep by herself in the bedroom or the living room area? We might have to do that next time. We have family with DVC and I wonder if we could use some of their points.
We just did a cash reservation through Disney....but on a special offer....but dvc points if you all can use them would be amazing! This is what worked for us......when it was DD bedtime, I laid her down in the bed in the actual bedroom, shut the door. We also have DS (who was 10 on the last trip we stayed in the villa.) We were able to still stay up in the living room, then when we all wanted to go to bed, either DH or myself quietly went into the room to sleep with DD the other of us stayed out on the pull out sofa with DS. I realize not ideal....but the 2 bedroom Villa would have been way better....but also way more money! It worked really well for us to have two different sleeping rooms though....a HUGE difference! I hope things go well for you all, and that the trip is magical!

Even as they get older, our five kids do not do well sleeping in a hotel room. Sharing beds...sharing tight space...it’s the stuff of mom nightmares. Now when we’re on road trips we book 2 bedroom suites and at Disney we stayed at a five bedroom house off site. It was amazing.

A baby’s best friend. I’m going in oct too & will be renting. Kingdom strollers does it too or you can request a crib from wdw too if you’re in wdw resort. But kingdom Strollers has thin mattresses & wdw cribs are portable size. A baby’s best friend is the only place that has actual full size cribs with reg 5 in mattresses.

We rented a crib from Kingdom Strollers in May 2017 and the mattress was fine. 3 inches, I believe. My son (18 months at the time) slept great in it. That was the only time we needed a crib at Disney as he was almost 3 on our next trip. But if I’d needed a crib again, I would have rented from them.
