Hi shutterbugs, I am new to the SLR world and have a (I hope) simple question. I have the Nikon D50 camera and will be carrying it on our next trip. My question, what is a good bag to carry it and the extra zoom lens around in? I have a bag that fits the camera and the stock lens but will not fit with the zoom lens on it. I also have a large bag that will carry everything, but is much too big to carry around. Any suggestions? I need the camera, two lenses and the extra battery and perhaps a filter or two.

Thanks!!

sorry it won't link to the right page - but if you go under the cases -
the Tarmac Backback is wht I was trying to show you ;)
Nice heavey comfy straps, lots of good compartments for other stuff (I put my cc, licnse, lip gloss etc in there too!)

LOVE mine! I bought it in the store for less, same brand - maybe a little smaller bag as I didn't need laptop space... but it gives you the idea...

I actually just have one of those "triangular" bags that just fits an SLR, then I can clip a carrier for the extra zoom onto the bottom of the bag. My DH has a backpack though, so I might just use his to carry an extra zoom or close up lens that I have. I like the one I have though, because I don't switch lenses that much, and it is much easier to pack my camera away than in a backpack.

I vote for the tarmac backpack also. We have it and it is great. Lots of space to carry all your stuff. We take it everywhere.
