Slowest 2 weeks of the year

i read on another board that the Pop Warner cheerleaders are there Dec 3-9. Don't know how much they go to the parks, but they certainly affect the resorts they stay at.

The last 2 years we went the second weekend in Dec and the Pop Warner kids were at the resort, Carribbean Beach, and they were having a good time and well behaved but loud too lol. We never had a problem at the parks, I dont think they visit them.

We are going the first weekend in Dec this year and I am more worried about the parade taping at MK....we will avoid that park on the weekend.

What about the week right before Christmas, 16 to 23? How are the crowds? Just wondering because that's when we're going.

We love Jan. This year we went Jan 22-29, and crowds very low. Someone did make a good point, though. Most fast pass machines were not operating, and many rides did not operate at full capacity. For example, Space Mt. and Big Thunder Mt. only ran one side. It was great to walk around freely, though, and not being worried about getting separated from our family. Also, we've lucked out and had beautiful weather in Jan.
