What is wrong with this site its so slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww:sad2: sorry have to get back to my Dibb.
 
I know I posted a comment on the Cruise section yesterday and they suggested that I post it here. THAT has been a trial in patience, as I've tried for at least five minutes to even get ON the DIS, and then another long wait to get to the Tech section. Who knows how long it will take to post this?

Something is seriously, seriously wrong with the Boards!
 
OH God although its a little bit better today still very slow, this is the only site I go on thats so slow. WHATS HAPPENING ANYONE LISTENING HELLO.
 
Sorry, but thank goodness it is not just me but this site is absolutely, absurdly slower than slow :furious: And that stupid need for double clicking the back button with alltagcloud is still here :headache:
 

I agree, its extremely slow. I was wondering if it was my internet connection.
 
I guess I'm to the point of being very fed up. If there is a problem then MODs should know about it and be able to post to people instead of just letting
people wonder and guess what is going on. This has been going on for weeks here on the DIS. Someone needs to exercise a bit of common curtsey to
the user of this site.

I did a search on here and found this thread because the past few days have been bad getting on disboards. It is like I'm on a dial up connection. It takes 1 page several minutes to load. It's very time consuming!!!

I am also at the point of being fed up and will search for a different forum, one that does not take me all morning to just look at one page, let along try to leave a post.

This is unexceptable... I feel all of us deserve some sort of response and recognition/respect for our support of this site. I think it is safe to assume I am not the only one that feels this way :sad1:

I also totally agree, DIS has been ridiculously slow and very frustrating with the problems with the back button nonsense :furious: And it doesn't help to get no response or information :sad2:
 
I haven't been posting here much lately because it takes a couple of MINUTES just to load a page. If I click reply, it could take another minute, and then another one to save my post.

It's not so bad about 10:00pm EST at night, but it's horrible with delays during the day.

FYI, In another thread (on the Community Board), Webmaster Alex mentioned they are having problems with the hosting company they are using getting their new servers up and running.

All we ask is that the "powers that be" just let us know they are aware of the problem and are working on it :rolleyes: I don't think that is unreasonable :rolleyes1

I do not believe that the "Powers that be" owe anyone an explanation.

They provide free boards for us to chat on at no cost to you or me. When someone has an answer or a solution, they will post it. I appreciate the effort that they undertake and know that they are taking the steps to fix any degraded services.

I have not seen the "painfully slow" boards. (I also have not experienced the Alltag problem and I am on the boards every day).

If it were me having the problem, I would send an email to support@wdwinfo.com if you want detailed answers. :thumbsup2
 
The powers that be run this as a business. There's plenty of advertising going on and this is a large board. It's like not like this has been going on for 1 or 2 weeks, it's been months. I don't think people are out of line for questioning it. It's very frustrating as a user.

It is still free to you and me. The boards offers no Service Level Agreement (SLA) to the users.

If google is running slow, do you ask them for a reason?

I still say that if you are not getting the answers you desire, email support@wdwinfo.com

FWIW - That advertising is to subsidize the bandwidth, hardware, software, and manpower to run the site.
 
Its really getting to be more of a chore to navagate around this site due to the slllloooooooooww speed
 
Saw this today...

We will be upgrading to some new servers over the next 10 days or so
There will be some occasional periods of downtime as we get ready to migrate
Like now :)
We should be back up in an hour or so

There should be a sticky explaining this at the top of every forum. It is a pervasive problem.
