I was a bit nervous about leaving mine on all day so i got myself one of those timer switches for a few pounds out of wilkos and set it so the slow cooker comes on a few hours before we get home.

I really dont use mine enough! DH doesnt like casseroles and apart from the odd curry im not sure what else to do in it?

ive brought my slow cooker this morning, seven pounds from asda cant wait to try it out, it will be ideal on wed night when we are all eating at different time.

Ours is on for tonights dinner, stewingsteak, mushrooms, carrots and gravy! YUM
I have bought two of the huge yorkshire puddings and I'm just going to fill them with the stew and pop the roast spuds on the side!
