Do you like wearing turtlenecks?


I love wearing turtlenecks when it gets cold outside. They make me feel all warm and fuzzy My DH on the other hand thinks they are annoying and itchy. What do you think??

I voted other. I like wearing turtlenecks, but I HATE having things up close around my neck, so I tend to pull on the necks constantly until they're stretched out enough to not bother me anymore.

I don't have any. It really doesn't get that cold here to wear them.

I voted like them. I get really cold outside so they are great there but once I'm inside if it gets too hot I feel like I'm choking. Go figure. I know I'm odd. DH is all together too hot blooded to wear one. All his sweaters are now mine!

I don't have any. It really doesn't get that cold here to wear them.

After I finished the poll I realized I should have put an option for those that live somewhere warm and don't need one

I like them, but I have to be in the right mood. Most the time I feel like it's too close around my neck. Mine aren't itchy though.

I liked them up north when it got cold out, but got rid of all mine when I moved to Florida... mistake!

It got cold enough last winter to wear them and this morning is cold enough. It usually gets nice once the sun is up, but once it's down it can get downright chilly, especially riding in the golf cart, which is a common mode of transportation here. Last winter I even got a hooded sweatshirt just for the cart.

Turtlenecks can be a nice casual alternative to a shirt and tie with a jacket.

I love them! In New England turtlenecks come in very handy during cold snowy days.

They don't look good on me (I have big ****s and a short neck), so I only wear them when it's really cold and I'm going to be outside.

I love them, in fact, I have one on right now. I need to go shopping this weekend and pick up some new colors. I only like the ribbed ones, though.

I don't like them....I have a small neck and they just look weird on me.

I like them sometimes. They have to be fitted, though, not big and baggy.

I don't like them on men at all.

I only wear them when I go skiing. Other then that they are too hot for me. It also feels like I'm being choked so I avoid them at other times.

Every so often I'll see a turtleneck style top on someone and think its really cute, but everytime I try one on I end up looking like a pudgy 3rd grader on class picture day.
