Do you read the newspaper?

I don't, and I need to start.

I'm taking a class to become a Real Estate Agent, and my teacher told us we need to read the newspaper. She said that clients will asks questions about the area they are looking at, and we need to know the answers to the best of our knowledge. That makes sense

I used to read it everyday but I had some issues with the newspaper carrier and, about 3 months ago, I switched to weekend only delivery. We used to get the paper delivered to our door every day by 6:00 a.m. That was great--I could read it before work. Then, we got a new carrier who didn't want to get out of the car and so it was moved to a tube across the street. This carrier also didn't like to get up early so it wasn't arriving until after 7:30--if at all. Some days, apparently she didn't like to take the time to drive down our road either.

I was so frustrated with having to call the paper every day, I switched to weekend only to save my blood pressure.

Your right - I didn't think of putting something like that in there. I will look at the Obituaries too when I know someone died. I will also look if my kids were in the paper for the daycare

We only buy the Sunday, but we don't read it. We look at the sale fliers and I look through and clip coupons.

We get the Wall Street Journal Monday-Saturday, and our local paper on Sunday. DH reads every single one of them, every day. I just read it if I see something interesting.

I used to read it every day. I canceled it when we were getting ready to move. I haven't started it up again so DH goes and gets me a paper every Sunday morning. I do read the New York Times on line everyday.

I read the paper every day. I get most of my news that way.

there wasn't an option for me either...I'll read most of the paper online, once or twice a week.

we only receive the Sunday paper - so I checked Sunday - but I go online to our local site and check the headlines just about every day. With the exception of some local stuff, it is all old news (compared to online) by the time it is in the paper anyway.

We have a 7-day subscription to the Boston Globe that we read on the train every morning, and I read the New York Times online Monday-Friday. I read a couple of other small local papers online from places I've been on vacation and still like to follow a few times a week also.

No. I bring it up online each day to see if there is any major stories but that's it!
