We're doing them sometime tonight. The kids have been told that they have to pick up their toys first so that hte Easter Bunny doesn't break his neck trying to hide eggs overnight. I think it's gonna be a loooong night.:headache:

GOOD :shamrock: :rotfl2:

We did ours this afternoon and I have pink hands to prove it. My dd3 dumped hers all over.. She also cracked a few too.. :lmao:

We are done too, went good but I dyed my fingers blue. I didn't use the egg kits to dye them I used food coloring. Any tips how to desmurf my fingers?? Soap and water is NOT working!

I don't have kids, but I did a few with my cousins on good friday! It ended up just being me doing them because the kids decided to move on to other things!

We had a gathering at our house after the 4th grade play on Thursday night, 6 families total. One family brought stuff to decorate sugar cookies. We supplied the stuff to color eggs. All had a good time. Lots of food, wine and beer.

DH was a little sad he didn't get to color eggs (as was I). But hey, I get egg salad instead!!!

One of the families brought their son's best friend. He is Jewish and didn't quite know what to make of the eggs. He was a good sport and enjoyed himself, coloring only one egg. He did like the goodie bag of candy though.

No vinegar smells on my multicolored finger tips this year.

My nef is 14 and not into it at all...and i am too old too make him!:lmao:

My kids are too old to care about coloring eggs anymore so we didn't do them.

Other - I took my girl scout troop (with my daughter) to the retirement home that my mom lives at and the girls dyed eggs with the seniors. It was a great craft to do with them.

No vinegar or water. The kit called for 10 drops of dye into a basket to basket (attached together) and shake gently. It wasn't messy at all.

Everyone loved it :thumbsup2

No kids here, but I love coloring Easter eggs. Some eggs turn out really pretty, while others...ehh, not so much (WHY does a purple egg NEVER turn out right??). It's a fun holiday tradition! I swear I would even hunt for eggs if I had someone who would hide them for me, and I'm 26 years old.
