slo's Saturday poll - Applebees vs. Chilis

If you had to choose between eating at Applebees or Chilis, which one would you pick?


We ate at Applebees last night, and I have decided that I like their menu better than Chilis. I don't dislike Chilis, but if I had to choose, I would choose Applebees. How about you?

I like the chicken crispers at Chili's better.... I like Applebee's too ~ pretty good service. There are a lot of Applebee's around here, but only one Chili's.

I would have to go with Applebees. I have only been to Chilis once and that was a looong time ago. Plus, Applebees is much closer.

I chose Chilli's because it has more of what I like than Appleby's. I prefer more of an American menu than a bunch of spicy slop.

Definitely Chili's! We go there once a week. Applebee's seem very generic and cafeteria quality by us. Chili's also has 2 for 1 drinks, love those margarita's.

I voted for Applebee's. I like Chili's too but it I LOVE the grilled chicken salad at Applebee's.

I like that Applebee's has a Weight Watchers menu, but there is something in Applebee's food, an additive or something that makes me ill most of the time when I eat there.

I much prefer the menu at Chili's, especially their chicken crispers. Besides not caring too much for the food at Applebee's, the smoking section is not divided off well enough from the non-smoking section.

I chose Applebee's, though I really do not think that they are that good. Chili's doesn't have a lot I am willing to eat so I have only been to one in my life.

Prefer Applebees. Wouldn't you know it though Chilis is closer to our home. It is a bit of a ride to get to Applebees.

I prefer Chilli's, menu is much better than Applebees. Love there chicken crispers (extra crispy).

Applebees! Gotta love those 1/2 price appetizers and the WW menu is great when I want something I KNOW is less fat or carbs.(not saying I always DO that!) We really LOVE the Orange Chicken bowl at Applebees too. It's got lots of great broccoli and yummy chicken. Our Applebees has really good service, it's near OSU so the wait staff is young, enthusiastic and conversationally interesting. They keep my son entertained, as does the TV on sports.
