How many phones do you have in your house?

I have the following phones:
1 in kitchen
1 in family room
1 in laundry room
1 in garage
1 outside by the pool
1 in basement
1 in DH's office
1 in bathroom upstairs
1 in my bedroom
+ 2 cell phones

That's a total of 11 phones  Holy Cow, that's alot of phones .:faint: I didn't realize I had that many phones

Poll coming!!!!

Holy cow Sandy! You have quite a few phones. We have two phones, one in the kitchen and one in our master bedroom. However, this is coming from a man that is not too fond of phones. Have a great day!

We have six. I am currently looking for one to go in DD's bedroom. It has to be pink. That's why I'm still looking. :rotfl:

Anyone know where I can get a pretty pink phone?

We have two: a cordless and a ummmm.... rotary. :teeth:

It's quite funny when people visit and they ask to use the phone. :rotfl: It still works after many, many years! (Can't say that about many phones!) :thumbsup2

3. My old old Mickey phone in the kitchen, corded, a cordless in the bedroom and another cordless in my daughter's bedroom.
Power goes out here too much to not have a corded phone around.

we have 4 cell phones
mickey phone bought from disboard tip
in living and family room
kitchen
bedroom

we have 1 phone in our kitchen, and its a mickey phone instead of a ring you hear mickey!!

we also each have a cell phone

We have one in the kitchen, one in my parents bedroom, and one in my room. But I hate the phone. My mom made me get it because it has a walkie-talkie feature and can be used with the phone in her room. So she likes to page me and bother me. Also it is nice so I don't have to kill myself running down the stairs to answer the phone in time.

We have 6. Kitchen, family room, office, our bedroom, and 1 in each boys bedroom.

We have the add-a-handset phones. Love them because you can add them anywhere - you don't need a phone jack for the additional handsets. And they have the intercom feature, so we can call from room to room. :thumbsup2

All cells here. No reason to pay for a house phone.
exactly! that is all I had until I met dh... he had to have landline for work :sad2:

I have a corded phone in my bedroom. And I have 3 cordless in my frontroom. Whenever I go downstairs I just grab one and take it with me. Or on the computer. That way I can make sure they all get charged regularly.
And my cell phone.

We've got five. A cordless in each bedroom (3) plus the kitchen, and a corded in the den.

We have the add-a-handset phones also.

One in family room, kitchen, scrap room, master bedroom and upstairs hallway.

Five here...

-Office
-Den
-Master Bedroom
+ 2 cell phones

We have 8 working phones

  • cordless - Master Bedroom
  • cordless - Office
  • cordless - Kitchen
  • cordless - Scrapbook Room
  • cordless - Guest Bedroom
  • Mickey - Guest Bedroom
  • my cell
  • DH's cell
But then we have all the old/non-working phones that Ian's acquired for his collection. Mind you, he's only 20 months old, but he loves to "talk" on the phone so he gets all the old cell & cordless phones without batteries to play with.

1 in the kitchen
1 in the office
1 in the master bedroom
1 in the master bath (someone always seems to call as I'm getting ready!!) :teeth:

2 cell phone

I voted 2 before I realized people are including cell phones.

1 Corded base station (2 lines)
1 cordless add on (2 lines)
2 cells (I hate cell phones)

In fact, I hate all telephones, but they are pretty much essential to my work. Oh well.
