I need to knock on wood, I have never had a broken bone, at times I thought I did, but it turned out to be a really bad sprain, like my toe about a month ago.
Broke a bone in my foot when DD was a baby- tripped stepping out of a van while holding DD in a baby carrier. Managed not to drop or hurt DD, but landed weird on my foot and broke a bone on the side of it. Ouch!!
Broke my wrist when DD was a toddler- trying to wash windows in the house, and stood on an oval coffee table to do so. Table tipped, and I landed on the wrist. Yowwwch!
Broke baby toe walking into DD's little wooden chair in the dark. Ooowee!
DD has jinxed me- never broke a thing before she was around!
and crushed my lumbar spine (L-1 to L-4) should not be walking (should not be alive really) but am both walking and alive Had three babies even. I am a medical freak. I am in cronic pain and slightly deformed from it (no curve in my lower back because the fixed me with metal rods). About 3-4 months of body cast and bed rest, 2 surgeries, a year and a half of rehab, and a few years in a brace.
I've broken my pelvis, both wrists, and fractured my radial head (elbow).
All horse back riding with the exception of the first time I broke my wrist. That was playing frisbee while camping, I tripped over a canopy line trying to catch it.
Linda-(with the broken pelvis) Mine still bothers me too. Weather wise, and if I stand on the O.R. floor all day. Or if I gain any weight.....(that's actually a good thing, it keeps me in check!!)
checked "other", but probably should have checked f"oot": broke my little toe once. Was playing with the cat, went to duck in the doorway and caught my toe on the edge of the door. It still bothers me of the muscles around it tighten up. That's it though.
