Do you have artificial plants and/or flowers in your home?
If yes…what do you have and in what room(s)?
(multiple choice)

*I’m sure there will be areas not listed in the poll - there’s only 10 rows available. Please choose “other” for those areas - thanks 🙂

For Me…..I have both artificial flowers and plants in our house.
Artificial plants are in the living room and dining room.
Artificial flowers are in the living room, kitchen, family room and my bedroom.

I have artificial flowers/plants in my living room, dining room and family room. If the front door counts I have a wreath on that.

I have artificial flowers in a vase my daughter made in my kitchen.
I have artificial flowers in my downstairs bathroom (black, red and yellow for the Mickey themed room....but they change for holidays)
And some in the entry from the garage

We travel a lot and have found artificial plants and flowers are the most effective way of providing colour and texture in our homes.

In the UK we have them mainly in our sun room which can get quite hot in the summer but we also have some elsewhere as they can be left alone indefinitely. Outside we have some real plants in pots but the lawn is artificial. If we go away in the summer months we group all the pots together in a shaded area and arrange for one of our DDs to pop by and water them.

At our place in Spain, where we are now, we use them everywhere, both indoors and outdoors on the terrace as they need no maintenance although we do bring the outdoor ones inside when we leave as strong winds and heavy rain could damage them.

Artificial plants and flowers have improved immensely in recent years and have become much more affordable. We particularly like the fake bonsais for their deep colour and twisted shapes.

If you need an adopted 47 year old daughter, something can probably be arranged. 😂🤩

I wouldn’t exactly call them plants, but I have a few sprigs of artificial blossoms and greenery tucked into various spots as decor around the house. I do use a bunch of different pieces, for table centres and whatnot, when I’m decorating for holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter.

I have both plants and flowers. They are in my Living room and Kitchen.
They are all small. A few( both plant and purple flower) placed in the high windowbox above our couch. One (purple flowers) is on the piano. There is also one ( plant) on the counter above the kitchen sink.

Real only, inside and outside (inside mostly succulents and cacti). I have 8 large hanging baskets on the front porch, some pots, lots of perennials. We’ve been binging shows from the 80’s, omg the fake plants! It’s like jungles in the home.

Marie has some artificial stuff in the house. Outside she has a little artificial interspersed with real to make sure the colors or deep greens don't dissapate over the hot summer months. All the artificial stuff sure looks real, amazing, compared to years ago.

Nope-no artificial plants, they are just dust collectors. Years ago, I bought several arrangements in baskets at a craft shop, so expensive and too much trouble to keep clean. I only have real plants outdoors and I have enough trouble keeping them alive.

The only artificial plants I have are 3 sprigs of flowers that we used as decorations for DD's wedding. I don't have them to decorate my bedroom, I have them for the sweet memories!

Real flowers only for me, please! Don't even care for any more the dyed daisies as to me they look like painted flowers which in a way they are. I tend to prefer flowers to plants. Of course, I love trees especially Evergreen!🎄Kid's drawn flowers, of course, are precious! :)

I have artificial plants around the house -- mostly on top of things. Like ivy vines on top of a hutch, baskets on the top my kitchen cabinets, china cabinet. I like the greenery.
