Do YOU do any holiday baking?
Are you a man or woman?
What do you bake? Cookies? Cakes? Pies? Or something else?
(multiple choice)

For Me….I do a lot of holiday baking (the only time of year I bake this much, because it’s the only time of year I don’t feel guilty eating it - LOL!).
I make 5 different types of cookies, peanut butter balls, Oreo balls, whiskey balls, amaretto balls and pretzel hugs. I’m tossing around the idea of making an eggnog bundt cake, but I haven’t fully decided on this yet.
As of now the majority of the balls are made - approx 100 PB, 80 Oreo, 60 Whiskey & 30 Amaretto (another 30 to be made this weekend). The cookies will be baked this weekend, and during course of next week after DD19 comes home from school (she enjoys baking with us).

I used to do wayyy more than I do now. This year I'm making fudge with the grandkids this weekend when they come to spend the night and that's it. Their Dad took over baking "my" Christmas cookies a few years back.

DH makes his yearly Chex Mix if that counts. It uses the oven. :santa:

Christmas season is really the only time I bake things. So far I’ve made spritz cookies from the Wilton press device, chocolate chip, and snickerdoodles. I also made blondies. I froze about half of them.

I’ll probably make another batch of spritz and I want to try chocolate/peanut butter swirl cookies.

I refuse to answer any questions about gender. ;)

P.S. My mother’s stand mixer just turned 50. I remember it was an early Christmas present in 1972.

I bake a lot.
Every family member gets to pick their favorites.
I am all done with my baking. We have our family Christmas Saturday because DS and his family will be at DIL's family's for Christmas this year (in Tennessee).

I have baked sugar cookies, stained glass cookies, Peanut butter blossoms, Chocolate Covered cherry, the same without cherries (dd and dgd don'e like cherries), chocolate chip cheesecake bars, gingersnaps.

Apple muffins, banana muffins, pumpkin muffins
Fudge, Haystacks with butterscotch chips and ones with peanut butter chips

I think I forgot some cookies. They have been in the freezer for awhile. DS took a container home already, another will come out Saturday another, Eve another and Day the rest

I don't do a ton of holiday baking, but do make a few things to make up tins for our neighbor and a couple people at DH's work. This year I am making Peanut Butter Buckeyes, a new recipe I found for Sugar Cookie Fudge, and Chocolate Chip cookies.

Other, because it varies.

I am not the baker in the family, that is my sister. She usually is the one to do most of the baking. However, if it is a big gathering I have baked a pie. I have done sugar cookies too, but mine are never as good as hers.

I have made 8 kinds of cookies so far. We are Disney world now so we’ll see what else I get done when we get home

Gooey chocolate butter cookies
Chocolate chip
Snickerdoodle
Thumbprints with homemade raspberry jam
Peanut Butter blossoms
Peanut Butter cup cookies
Peppermint meltaways
Whipped shortbread

I’ve made about 1,500 cooked so far

I’ve pared it down over the years to just a few small batches of my favorites. My household doesn’t eat a lot of baking and prefers all the fancy candy treats that are around at this time of year. I can’t quite bring myself to quit altogether though because it’s as much of a treasured holiday activity for me as putting up the decor and getting gifts. :santa:

We just had our First Annual Cookie Bake with my sister and her kids and their spouses. Since it was an experiment to see how well we worked together, we only made three kinds of cookies: Butter, Sugar, and Chocolate Chip. We had lots of fun!

I make about 6 things. Still have a few to do. This year - sugar cookies, meringue cookies, brownies (with Christmas M & Ms), Christmas crack, and 2 other squares. (or dainties as they are know locally...)

I don’t bake, but my husband does. He’ll make chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies and peanut butter blossoms. He sometimes makes oatmeal raisin cookies. He hasn’t started baking yet. Probably this weekend.

There will be plenty of cooking, baking not so much.

I do not bake... I just don't really baked stuff and I don't need the extra calories. I have tried to make cookies before, and I couldn't even do that right using premade cookie dough, so there's that aspect too that I lack the ability to bake anything edible.

I make mostly Italian (mostly Italian-American) cookies at Christmas that I put in small tins to hand out to my immediate neighbors and bring cookie trays to gatherings. My grandmom made huge, huge batches of Italian cookies when I was growing up, and I do not make all of the same kinds she did but we were close and it's sort of my personal homage to her every year since my mom doesn't really do them. She's been gone 7 years now so it's my way of keeping her here.
