I really never use curbside pickup. We go to BJs vary rarely (maybe once a quarter) so maybe use curbside for one or two of those trips. I've only used curbside p/u for the grocery store I don't usually shop at because they offered me $40 off $75 to try it. It took way longer than just going to store. I didn't purchase any meat or produce.

Honestly DH and I like grocery shopping together. I use lots of coupons (digital, in store only etc.) and there are also unadvertised sales or managers specials. I also want to pick out my own meats. So in store it is. The in-store part really doesn't take that long. Planning out the trips takes longer since I go to at least 2 stores.

I really like curbside ot home delivery. I just add to the cart as the days go on, most are repeat items, and place the order when it gets to about $150.

Never. The horror stories posted here on the DIS are enough reason not to. I can go to the store....two actually.....Walmart and my local chain grocery store, pick up a Foo Foo coffee on the way home in less than 90 minutes. I can't imagine having someone pick produce and meat for me, and you miss out on the instore managers specials, and markdowns on items getting near their expiration dates. Those are NEVER listed on the website.

I voted "never" but there was one time during the pandemic that I got curbside at a Mexican restaurant.

I have the luxury of having grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, Walmart, etc. all within a very short distance from my house. I mean, 5 minutes from my house. Also, being retired gives me the opportunity to shop middays during the week, most places just aren't that busy. Nice service for those who need it though:)

We do it often and primarily with Walmart grocery pick up which has been done for ages. Husband picks up the order on his way home from work. It's not always a weekly thing but it works out to be pretty close to that.

We have done it before with the liquor store during the pandemic when our state temporarily and then later on permanently changed the law to allow for this but we really don't use this feature much anymore.

I've used it a few times at Petsmart but it seems to take too long compare to just walking in and picking up the order I placed online.

Only used it a few times at Target.

When I saw the thread title I thought of trash pickup. I have never used curbside pickup for shopping. I have occasionally used in store pickup for a Target order.

I order from Target quite a bit but prefer to go myself inside after showing phone bar code.

And to get a Starbucks. 😀

I've only used it once. I needed camping chair for a music festival and the one I had was old and literally falling apart. My local Walmart didn't have the one I wanted but the one on the way to the venue did. So I ordered it for pick-up on my way.

EDIT: I use it for fast food pick-up. I hate the drive thru but will order on the app and wait in my car for it to be brought out to me.

I used walmart pickup a lot during covid. Since then about once or twice a month. Mostly staple items. Same as BJS. Use it mostly for staple items. Rather them carry the big bundle of paper towels or cases of water to car. I can take apart at home and carry as needed.

I tried Giant once or twice, gave up. Many times I'm buying sales....$1.50 each or ten for $10.00. So takes forever to put in subs or instructions to get the deal.

Also like picking out own meat, veggies, checking dates.
