Golf at OKW - ? for those in the know

Since this first came up, we just returned (last week) from OKW where DH played 4 times and used the voucher/free transportation every time. Right now he'd recommend Magnolia. Lake Buena Vista's greens are currently in very poor conditions (although DH got compensated for complaining) and Palm just doesn't drain as well as Magnolia if it's rainy (which it was). Otherwise Palm and Magnolia were both good courses, just the slight edge to Magnolia because of the rain.
The voucher system worked out well. DH stopped by the night before, just to let them know, but I don't think it's necessary. Otherwise, just show up in the morning, get your voucher inside at the concierge, go out to bell services who'll call you a taxi, and within about 5 minute, you're on your way. And the voucher includes the tip too.

Can’t overstate this key point you made - Palm doesn’t drain well. If it just rained a lot try to move the reservation to Magnolia or LBV.

OP here. Not sure if anyone is looking at this but I have another question. DH and I are the DVC members but aren't going to be golfing. I'm assuming I can't book for them using the DVC link on the website - is there a discount? But can I book the tee time for them using the Resort Guest option? I want to have the reservation on my credit card. Or, do one of the golfers need to book their own tee time?

DH booked by calling (I don't even know what #). But then when he got to the course that day, he had to show his DVC card from his Wallet in order to get the DVC discount.
