I love coloring easter eggs! I am always down for it.

No coloring this year, we are going on vacation for spring break and leave on Easter. DD has not colored in years, the "too cool for school" mentality. However, if she is like me when she is 16/17 she will find it enjoyable again. :goodvibes
We’re leaving on vacation on Easter too! Have a great time!

We did them when I was a child, but my mom always wanted deviled eggs for Easter dinner so there was a reason. I am not a fan of boiled eggs, so it would be a waste of money for me to color eggs, especially as expensive as they are right now.

My teens are going to dye them this year. I bought the kid the day after Easter last year so now I just have to find it...

Oh I do it for all the egg salad sandwiches I can have…lol Or just eat them boiled for breakfast.

Not dyeing eggs this year, but will be attending a family gathering on Sunday where they’ll have them. Always did it when I was growing up, and continued the tradition as an adult/parent.

I colored them as a child. When DH and I were young and childless, we colored them "just because." We colored them with the kids when they were young. My daughter is coming home for college for the weekend so I'm debating whether to do it. (She said she doesn't care one way or the other.)

We don't like hard boiled eggs so when we colored them we just colored raw eggs and put them back in the fridge. It was fun to use them for cooking and baking. My DH and I don't have kids. Some years we color eggs, but this year we are skipping it since we have a lot going on this week.

In this economy?! Just kidding

Did them with both my kids(they are 12 years apart) and when I was younger…my youngest is 10 and has no interest anymore

I think I've only done it once before many years ago. Best I remember it was a lot of trouble and messy. Plastic eggs are the way to go for me.

We are babysitting our grand daughter this week, so we're going to color eggs today. We'll see how it goes.

I colored eggs at all ages-now I watch my little Godson 'color' them. What he actually does is dip each egg into multiple colors multiple times, and they come out looking like gray rocks. Nothing says Easter! like a basket full of gray rocks.

My brother and my boys always have a competition of sorts each year - who can create the ugliest egg. :rotfl:

I can’t remember a time when I HAVEN’T colored eggs for Easter! Like my husband is fond of saying, it’s not Easter, unless the tips of my fingers are colored w/ Easter egg dye!

Growing up, my sister & dyed them every year. And, once my husband & I started dating, he was included in our egg-coloring.

After we got married, we continued… I think we may have dyed them back at my parents’ house along w/ my sister? In the 5 years after we got married & before we had kids, there may have been 1 or 2 years where we didn’t color eggs, but I can’t remember them.

And, after we had our own kids, coloring eggs continued to be a “must” tradition for our Easters, of course. 2 of our kids are grown & the youngest is a teenager, but we‘re still dying eggs!

Over the years, we’ve tried all different sorts of egg coloring methods - from the very messy shaving cream method to the really cool egg roller kit.

This year, coloring eggs will be one of the activities at the brunch we’re hosting on Good Friday.

However, out of all the eggs I’ve dyed, I’ve NEVER eaten a dyed egg. My mom wouldn’t let us, & I never would let my kids either.
