I'm real good for a week or so...but then running late or something and stop... Month later, repeat.I voted "do not" take multivitamin. I have the best of intentions, I have like half a bottle. I start off w/the best of intentions, then taper off. I just do not seem to have the discipline to remember to take it. I should be more diligent.
) every morning. I used to take at night but a new, different cardio pill prefers less potassium when I take that one, so vitamin in the AM, cardio PM now. Thank God for the person who invented weekly/AM-PM pill boxes. And in the vitamin family, I also take a D, tested low.I have a GP, a Gastro guy and a Endocrinologist. All three of them completely dismiss the value of OTC multi-vitamins. Over the years I’ve been prescribed particular supplements (oral and injectable) but only for a limited time until the specific deficiency levelled out. On-going I do take a prescription Omega 3 (fish oil) that is massively expensive but has been worth it’s weight in gold for managing my genetic high cholesterol without the miserable side effects of statins. And while it’s not a “daily”, I do swear by the high Vitamin C & D, echinacea and zinc powdered drink shots for immune support.My Gastro told me to stop taking them -said they weren't all that good for you and a waste of money. I haven't taken one for at least 5-years and feel as good as ever at 60. I do take specific supplements ...Vit. C & D, Fish Oil, and probiotic
