I chose 2. I have tried to make a commitment to rewatch the STAR Wars Trilogy I remember. I've made it thru movie#1. Somehow when I was searching for the second movie I had jumped to a Star Wars I had never seen. I need to get back on track! When I visit WDW, it won't be a must- do for me, only a walk thru.

I picked 2 as well. I’ve seen some of the movies, but never really got into it. Not that interested in sci-fi. My familiarity is mainly by association through DS, who's a big fan. I used to play SW video games with him.

Liked some of the original Star Wars movies. Lost interest in the later ones and moving back/forth in the series was confusing and hard to follow. The newest versions just seem like a money grab trying to capitalize on the original popularity. Honestly, how many different ways can they tell the same story? Eventually all of these movie sequels run out of new ideas and/or people get bored of the same storyline repackaged in new ways.

I wouldn't say a fan but I'm not not a fan. I saw the original 3 movies when they came out and have seen them many times over the years when they come on TV. The only other one I saw was the one where Han Solo was back (I can't even remember the name of it) but that was just because of Harrison Ford. I haven't seen any of the TV shows and don't even know who any of the new characters are, although I have heard their names. I have taken trips to WDW where the furthest I went into Galaxy's Edge was to ride Rise. I do wander back there if I'm bored and can even take or leave Rise. I have ridden all the rides at least once and have eaten at the QS and other place (again don't know the names) and have had blue milk. All that was only because my son is a fan.

.00001.

I saw the “first” movie in a theater back in 1977 but never had an interest in anything more.

I'm not sure, maybe a 6. I just love some bits better than others. Definitely not as zealous as the super-fans. When I see adults waving plastic LED swords at eachother, it gets awkward.

I would jump at the chance to be involved in one of those shows though.
I would even be Mando for a day at the park, before heat stroke sets in:

3. I don't dislike it, but I am not a huge Star Wars fan. I barely know the basics and that's just fine with me. :D

Although, I really enjoy Oga's when I am at Disneyland or Hollywood Studios! ;)

I‘ll say 3 because I saw the first three films in the late 70s/early 80s. But none since.

I enjoy a lot of the characters and the movies at face value. I could not tell you their background stories and definitely get confused with all the different planets etc. , but I find the whole Star Wars franchise entertaining.

9 is not a high enough rating for my level of Star Wars fandom. It's more like a million!

Because of how you wrote the opening post, I voted 1, not a fan.

I am a fan of Star Wars. I am not a fan of Disney taking over Star Wars and making it a kid's series with silly elementary school humor and such.

The originals were something never seen before. They were something.

The next 3, Episodes 1, 2, and 3 were OK. It was way too stretched out and through 2 movies was basically a love story rather than a Star Wars story. It could have been all compacted into one complete movie with emphasis of half the movie telling Episode 3 of Anakin becoming Darth Vader. That was the whole point of the 3 movies and doing it in 3 put emphasis on the love story rather than Darth Vader. One movie would have been so much better.

Then Disney took it over and made A New Hope again just with different characters. A droid seeking help to battle an evil empire building a space station to destroy worlds. Hmm... where have I seen that movie before?

Mom loved them so I took her to 3 of them. Fell asleep in all 3. They were terrible and not Star Wars movies. And as your post seems to me to be asking about the Disneyfied Star Wars, I gave it a 1.

Maybe a 3. Seen most of the movies, especially the originals, but never really been a fan, per se.

Point of order, Star Wars has always been a kid's series. Ask George Lucas. One can still debate relative quality within those parameters, and it's fair to like and dislike them for various reasons. As I often say though, Star Wars is for 8 year-olds - but I don't mean that as a bad thing! 🙂

I said 7 because we have watched the movies some of them many times and on
Disney+ love Mando, Boba, and Obi. Have not seen some of the other offshoot ones.

I'll give myself a 7. I loved the first three movies so much I used to watch them all the time on VHS, and I have the DVDs now. The other movies, eh, not so much. I love The Mandolorian, the other shows were just okay to me. I guess I'm middlin' too.

If it was just the movies, I'd raise my rating, but some are the spin off shows are ok, some ehhhh, that lowered the overall score.

6 - I love all the content but stop short of owning a droid, lightsaber, or a stay on Starcruiser. Just too $$$.

I thought I was a fan but I have no idea who Mando and Grogu are so now I'm reconsidering my 6, lol. I have not watched any of the Mandalorian series as we don't have Disney+. Def a fan of the first 3 movies but we haven't paid as much attention to the newer stuff. We did enjoy the rides in GE and getting a drink that fizzed in the bar but that's about it.
